Morality Aesthetics 🦋

What Is Morality?      What is this set of rules which we are meant to operate upon? Does anybody have the actual guidelines which we are meant to follow? Is there an overall consensus based upon our agreement of reality? Or are we all just acting upon our own intentions, disguising our actions as something greater than our wants? I believe it was Nietzsche who said, morality had aesthetics .      He basically argued, that if you killed a cockroach, nobody would bat an eye- however, if you killed a butterfly, everybody would lose their mind. It’s hard to argue with that kind of logic. It’s difficult to say that he was wrong in his assessment. Throughout history, over and over again, our morality has truly depended on the aesthetics we observe, and which side of the fence we sit on. The constant grey-zone, between what is right and what is wrong.      Answering these questions is not something which can be discovered lightly. How can on...

February 14th ❤️‍🩹

Another Night on my Own.      Does one stand up and shout into the abyss about his misfortune? Does one stand tall, against the darkness, and curse the name of He who has left him there? Or does one simply rise to the occasion, and embrace the darkness which he has found to be his only friend? These are the questions which haunt me, when nobody is around to hear my pain.      Perhaps taking on the world is something too great, for even the largest of egos to achieve. Perhaps, in my state of madness, I sought a prize which even myself could not wield. Perhaps there is a certain tranquility, is simply accepting defeat and succumbing to the forces which control your world.      And yet, perhaps there is not. Perhaps there is hardship, to prepare one for the moment they have patiently waited for. For how can one know how to wield such power, without first acquiring the strength? The force within, to allow one to stay afloat. To summon the ...

Thoughts From The Abyss 🌘

If You Knew You Couldn’t Lose- What Would You Do?      Seriously, think about it. If you knew you couldn’t lose- what would you do?      Would you run to the casino and gamble away until you couldn’t carry any more chips? Would you pick up a sport you loved as a child, and become the greatest to ever play? Or would you simply approach that girl, you’ve been obsessed with for years, and finally make her your wife?      The question is thought-provoking, to say the least. The idea of being able to accomplish all that you wish, is something greater than winning the lottery. A feeling of invincibility, giving you the confidence to move in a way you’ve never experienced before.      Yet here we stand, lost in thought, afraid to make a mistake. Here we sit, waiting for life to happen to us, instead of going on and making it. Here we lie, day-dreaming about a million outcomes which will never show their face.    ...

Rise of the Phoenix 🥚

Generation Geezer.      Old people are ruining everything. Before you quit on me, hear me out. They’re going to hell, and they’re bent on dragging us down with them.      I don’t know if it’s their lack of faith, or their lack of morals, which is worse. The only thing they seem not to lack, is money. Which they are hellbent as ever towards wasting it, and completely ruining the future for everybody else. These people are seriously demented, and have major issues when it comes to understanding the most basic concepts.      My anger towards them is something which I struggle to hide. Although some of them mean well, they simply cannot keep up in today’s world. The age of information has proven to be too much for them. They cannot comprehend what is going on. They cannot see through the illusion they have spent most of their lives participating within. The struggle to wake up and acknowledge their own mistakes is some what of a foreign co...

Habits 🏃🏼‍♂️

Habits.      Habits are what make anything possible. Not routine. Habits.      Routine kills. Plain and simple. The purpose of routine is to run thru the motions, until eventually you’re nothing more than a shell. A hardened, strengthened shell, perhaps. But a shell, none the less. Life slowly becomes nothing more than a constant check-list. A run-thru of doing certain tasks, over and over again. Gym, every single morning at 7am. Breakfast, every single day at 9am. Work, every single day at 12pm. And over and over again.      The creation of routine is designed to slowly suck the life out of you. Slowly, but surely, remove your body from your spirit. Next thing you know, you’re doing all these different things, without getting anywhere. You’ve created the perfect recipe for running in place. Constantly on the go, with nowhere to run to. Most individuals die to routine, in one way or another.      Habits, on the other han...
