Days of Future Past ⏳

Time Travel.      One of the most interesting things I’ve ever read about, is Time-Travel. Not the loopy, “Back To The Future” type stuff. I’m talking more about the idea within itself. The thought of manipulating time, so that man can control it. That man can be in charge of his own destiny. That even the final enemy, will bend towards his will.      What I found so fascinating about it, is more about how we as a species used to think about it in the past. How we used to ponder the questions of the Universe, well before we even had an idea of it being true.      The story of Gilgamesh comes to mind. I believe, within his tale of heroics, the great Gilgamesh speaks of time travel as well. Of being able to manipulate the very substance we find ourselves swimming within, and controlling the outcome of tomorrow. How a story so old, from so many millenniums ago, deals with this- is beyond me.           What st...

History Is Now ⏳

What A Time To Be Alive.      Looking back at the beginning of the 21st century, we will soon realize that we are living in some of the most influential times of all human history. Seriously. Those of us who make it out alive, will look back and realize just how much of a shit-show things truly were. How insane and corrupt life has become. How far we have strayed from the proper path. Make no mistake my friends- we are literally writing history as we speak it.      Patience is a virtue. It is a tool which has been mastered by those who wish to create change. They literally sit around, slowly nudging society in the direction they wish it to take. After that, the waiting begins. Time no longer becomes a factor. Some wait for years. Others, decades. For the patient man, time is nothing more than a factor which is applied within their calculations. Time is just another brick in the wall.      Some plans take time. Some, take huge amounts o...

The New Age 🆕

Knowledge Is Power.      I’ve stated that here, in these moments, more times than I can count. The undeniable fact that all which we seek lies on the otherwise of knowledge. That every single movement we make, here in life, is based around an unknown force which we carry within our heads.      Downloading knowledge will soon become the norm. Individuals will be able to connect themselves to a mainframe, and access whatever it is that comes to their mind. Much like we do already today, on the internet. Grab our phones or our computers, and simply hop online to absorb new information. Constantly flowing, from A-Z, with facts and interpretations running 24/7 non-stop. The age of information has already begun.      In a world filled with information, it becomes increasingly difficult to find true knowledge. In fact, with so much noise present, the challenge presented becomes extremely difficult. Not only must one find a way to cut through ...

Sands of Time ⏳

Sands of Time.      Achilles and the Battle of Troy is one of the better movies I’ve seen. The wisdom and knowledge which are dropped throughout the 2-hour film really help a man better understand what it is he is up against. The constant flow against the sands of time, as we attempt to do the impossible in order to allow our name to live on through the ages.      Much of the lessons in that movie continue to be prevalent today. Man’s wish to have his name last the test of time, as we attempt to do the impossible within our lifetime. We each choose our own path, doing whatever we deem necessary in order to find success. To work and build towards something greater than ourselves. To create a legacy which will live long after we have passed. To become something more than a man, bound by flesh and blood.      Most men today are more than happy with simply existing. They are grateful to simply wake up, go to work, pay taxes, and die. Nothi...

Cherry Cola 🍒

I Had A Dream.      Last night, I was riding a bus. We were headed back from the city. And in my dream, I was drinking a refreshing can of Pepsi. Suddenly, I woke up. I looked around my room, to gather my myself as I emerged from the void called a dream. And suddenly, it hit me- I needed to drink a Pepsi.      Now unfortunately, I was unable to find a Pepsi, as I did not have any in stock. However, what I did find was a nice, cold can of Cherry Coke. Thanking God, I grabbed the can and returned to my humid room, sweating along the way there. Finally, upon returning, I opened the fresh can, echoing a massive pop as the aluminum top cracked under the pressure. I fired up a video game, and enjoyed my time all alone in the late hours of the morning. I loaded Donkey Kong Country: Diddy Kong’s Quest, and enjoyed my beverage. I that moment, life was good. In that moment, I found myself again.      Moral of the story? Drink soda at 2am and pla...

Histōria ⏳

History Is Being Written.      Watching the history of the World is a daunting task to say the least. We humans have accomplished so much, it a relatively short period of time. We have truly written one of, if not the, greatest saga’s ever told. Yet despite all we’ve written- there’s still so much to unfold.      Losing the Library of Alexandria was potentially the worst tragedy to ever befall history. We as a civilization lost so much knowledge of the past within those flames, never to be recovered again. It becomes almost mind-bending when you realize that 95% of history has been lost forever. Think of all the great kings and conquests which we openly talk about and study. Now think about all the stories we’ll never even know.      Time is truly undefeated. It is a vial filled with sand, slowly erasing all which it consumes. Someday, perhaps not too far, we as a race may not even know about Ancient Greece or Sumer. We may not even kn...
