     The death of a nation no longer goes out with a bang . The destruction of a country and its people is no longer measured by guns or swords. The destruction of what our ancestors have built will not be conquered via force. The true, final blow will be that of a nation neutered; too weak to push back and take back what is theirs to own.      A great man once spoke about how the fall of nations begins once the individuals begin to put their own wants and desires above their fellow countrymen . As an individual who grew up, believing that life was all about finding what it is we wish to accomplish, I strongly disagreed. The thoughts and beliefs of being an individual who was born to pursue their own path, at whatever cost, was engrained within my DNA.   Refreshed. Recharged. Refocused.      Sometimes taking a short break from the usual scheduled program can do wonders. Sometimes, the mind, body and soul needs a break. Not necessarily a vacation, where you do nothing at all- but simply a break from the same old, same old. To resharpen your thoughts and focus on new tasks at hand. To recalibrate your goals and understand what it is you are truly looking for. To sig deep, and refine the purpose of life once again.      Times are challenging for everyone. Although admittedly, some are struggling more than others. This game we play called life, is rigged from the start. It’s been created so that certain individuals excel at a greater rate than others. It’s been taken over and controlled by those who wish to see their causes rise and lead the way, burying all those who are against it.   Wise Men Say- Only Fools Rush In.      But I can’t help, falling in love with you.      Had that stuck in my head this morning. No clue why. Can’t say I’m anywhere close to rushing in to anything at this point. However, I still find it to be one of the better songs I know.        Music and art have taken such a turn for the worse. Everything today is made with the goal of simply being bought and mass-consumed, to market and sell a product which holds zero emotional importance. It has been completely hijacked to nothing more than a game of numbers- be it on the billboard or in the bank account. The entire arts industry is at one of the worse crossroads of all-time. Which is a direst reflection of the society we currently live in.      We live in a period where arts and culture are dying. Slowly but surely, everything is beginning to fall apart.
