What A Wonderful Day! I keep on hearing that line from the new Planet of the Apes movie, coming out today. Look at me go, advertising for a series that I’ll make zero dollars from! What a wonderful day, indeed. What a wonderful day to ponder the question- could monkeys run this planet better than we could? Could they govern the Earth and do a better job? Honestly, it feels like a trick question. The answer is probably not so black and white. What I would say though, is that the monkeys would probably be way less corrupt than humans are. They’d probably be less willing to make shoddy deals behind everyones back, to simply benefit their own hide. I like to believe that monkeys would not reach the level of corruption humans have, simply for their lack of experience. Have no fear tho- I guaranteed they’d get there, one day.
