Sicario 🔫

Back to Basics.      After a short hiatus, I’ve decided to return. Between losing power, and simply being hungover, I struggled with he ability to continue forward with my progress. Blame it on the alcohol, eh Jamie?      Regardless, here I am. Back as can be. Ready to face life and all the struggles which come along with it. Overall, I am feeling good. I finally caught up on some much needed sleep. My soul feels rested, and ready to take on the world once again.        I watched Sicario last night before bed. Great movie. Seriously, would definitely recommend if you haven’t seen it already. IT really got my head thinking about a lot of things. The scene in the middle of the film, where the squad takes a drive to Mexico and goes tho Juarez was intense. The blood was rushing. The constantly scanning, unaware of where the threat would emerge from. That felt like the closest thing to real that I’ve felt in a long, long time.  ...

Coffee & Cigarettes ☕️

Coffee & Cigarettes.     All a man really needs.  Maybe a glass of whiskey too. Mix it all together, throw in a little sun, and the world is yours to conquer. Life’s recipe for unlimited success.      Alrighty, perhaps not the cigarette. Perhaps we can skip that one for the time being. However, it is truly remarkable how far we as a species have gone off of those three substances. Caffeine, Nicotine and Alcohol have been responsible for probably 70% of the world’s advancements. How did I get 70%, you ask? Simple- I made it up. I thought it sounded like a viable number. Who knows what the real answer is? However, I am willing to wager I’m pretty close with that guess.        Have you ever seen the meme where they compare stoner societies to alcoholic societies? It always makes me laugh, for some reason. Stoner societies tend to be laid back, relaxed, and a bit of a gongshow. Alcoholics, on the other hand … different story. They tend t...

Zoroastrianism ☯️

February 1st.      One month down, eleven more to go. Something tells me 2024 is going to be a year to remember. Whether it be on a global scale, or personal- we all should have something big in store. Ironically, as the saying goes, man makes plans- and God laughs. Regardless, failing to plan is planning to fail. Talk about a paradox.        I wish I had a dog. Honestly, having a four-legged best friend would probably be the most fun experience. Obviously, I’m aware of the massive amounts of work included with it. I’ve never owned a dog, however I have friends who do, and I’ve seen how much goes into it. I still think having a dog would be a blast. Being able to take them on walks, spend time, play, and just relax is something I can honestly say I would love. I never had a pet, even as a child. I was never given the luxury. I do not hold any ill-will over it. I believe that if I ever want to own one, then it is my responsibility to...

24 Hours 🕑

If you had 24 hours to live, what would you do?      Pretty simple question, really. Who hasn’t been asked this at least once in their lifetime? Simple question, yet complicated answer. 24 hours can really fly by in the blink of an eye. Regardless, the question remains- what would you do? Would you party into oblivion, doing all the drugs and alcohol you could get your hands on before the dreaded final hour arrives? Would you go out with a bang, intoxicated and abbreviated beyond recognition? Or would you take risks like never before- go sky-diving, climb mountains, swim with sharks? Would you go to the casino, and bet it all on red? Or would you hit the race track, and spend your final hours betting on horses to get your thrills? Or would you self-implode to the knowledge that you were going to die in 24 hours, and take your own life instead? Would you spend time with your family and loved ones? Would you throw a party or BBQ and simply enjoy your rem...
