Molotov-Ribbentrop 2.0 🤝

Is this what it felt like, when Nazi Germany marched into Poland and split the country in half, in agreement with the USSR?      Was the pre-determined agreement, between both the National Socialist and Bolshevik parties, a similar celebration of conquest as that which we have witnessed in the past 48 hours? Two different scenarios, two different governments- and yet, I cannot help but wonder if these victories are more similar than they appear.      The American conquest of Venezuela is something which feels eerily similar to the conquests of the past. When Nazi Germany and the USSR agreed upon taking a foreign country and occupying their land, did the people of both nations cheer as their forces moved forward? Were the German and Soviet citizens excited at their new conquest? Were they celebrating their great victory, as the country of Poland fell with little to no resistance?        Regardless of the different scenarios, and more impo...

What If ...? 🌎

What If …?      We have reached yet another turning point in World History and Geopolitical relations. Everyday, we seem to be veering towards a guaranteed conflict. The question has no longer become a matter of if, but simply- when?      To build a new world, one must first tear the old one down. This is a theory which has been executed countless times, throughout history. When first observing the Napoleonic Wars, in the 1800’s, we quickly see a determined man venture across Europe and conquer the Motherland. This incredible act of determination and will essentially dismantles the European continent, and reshapes its borders, laws, regulations and powers. The entire continent shifts, and from the ashes of the rise and fall of the French Caesar, a new world is born.      The same can be seen from World War I & II. The reality is, that both these major conflicts were in effect a continuation of one another. With the forces of Austri...

Build Tomorrow, Today ⚒️

The Future of Optimism        Peter Thiel talks about the future, and the optimistic or pessimistic view each group holds, in his book Zero to One. It’s an incredible way to view and understand the world, in a light which we often miss when living within our homeland.        The idea that each country, and by extension its people, view the future with a different lens, is unique. Although it may seem sheltered, most individuals seem to not differentiate between how each region has a different opinion on what lays ahead for humanity. Growing up in Canada, I’ve always simply believed that the world held similar beliefs or goals towards what they wished to accomplish in the not-so-distant future. About how we all wish to achieve abundance and wealth, through medicine and technology, to build a better world. How we all share a common belief that the future which lays ahead is one where prosperity for all is possible. Where we as human beings ca...

Ethno-State 🇨🇳

Landing in China, something struck me. Within 2 minutes of being here, in a foreign country, my eyes picked up on something that seemed so strange. And yet, when said out loud, it seems like such an obvious statement.      Everybody is Chinese.        The entire country, constructed out of the same people. An entire nation, build around those who have been here for centuries. A people, which have called this land their home since before the Qing Dynasty united the country for the first time.      And yet, I couldn’t help but wonder- Why are my own people not allowed to do the same? Why is it, that my ancestors, are forced to mix and mingle? Why is it that my homeland, my home country, is forced to accept millions upon millions of foreigners, who do not care nor share my values?        The more time I spent thinking about this question, the angrier I became. Having spent my whole life, being fed a lie from those in p...

Midnight Flight 🛫

Spring Forward.      How do you know when it’s time to pack your bags and go? How can you know when you’ve worn out your welcome, and the time to leave has arrived? How can you feel it, deep inside your soul, when the future is calling- not knowing what awaits outside of the door?      Progress is inevitable. The clock keeps ticking life away, regardless of if you’re paying attention or not. The sands wait for no man.        Why should they? Why should life revolve solely around you? The world doesn’t owe you anything. It doesn’t bend at the mercy of your own will. The truth is- You’re irrelevant. Another name on a long, long list of billions who have came before, and who will come next. A never-ending story of humanity, constantly pushing forward chasing something we cannot quite grasp. ✶      Every man wishes to play God, to a certain degree. To sit here, and say that I have never thought of it, would be a lie. I’...

Oh, Canada 🇨🇦

We’re definitely in a recession.      It’s finally coming to light, clear as day. Here, in the West- it’s recession-o’clock.      Things are just out of control. And to be honest, I don’t see how they’re going to come back down. I suppose I’m a debbie-downer, always ragging about how bad things are, but this is something I simply do not understand. Which makes sense. I hated Economics. I found it to be such a waste of time. Backwards-ass psychology, trying to predict the future using some bullshit methodology, expanding on X & Y. Just not my thing, if I’m being honest.      Looking around for a place to live is insane. How any individual is expected to fork out 2-3k a month simply for a place to sleep, is bananas. Not only that, but the fact that you never get to be at home in the first place, because you need to work 12-hour shifts just to afford it. Insanity. Then there’s food. Don’t even get me started on that one. At this point...
