 What If …?

    We have reached yet another turning point in World History and Geopolitical relations. Everyday, we seem to be veering towards a guaranteed conflict. The question has no longer become a matter of if, but simply- when?

    To build a new world, one must first tear the old one down. This is a theory which has been executed countless times, throughout history. When first observing the Napoleonic Wars, in the 1800’s, we quickly see a determined man venture across Europe and conquer the Motherland. This incredible act of determination and will essentially dismantles the European continent, and reshapes its borders, laws, regulations and powers. The entire continent shifts, and from the ashes of the rise and fall of the French Caesar, a new world is born.

    The same can be seen from World War I & II. The reality is, that both these major conflicts were in effect a continuation of one another. With the forces of Austria-Hungary, along with Germany, the Ottoman Empire, and Italy (For a brief period), waging war against the previous alliances formed from the Napoleonic era, Europe once again goes through drastic change. The world that has been built from Napoleon’s time is yet again torn down, just in time to introduce a new world.

    By the end of World War II, a new era is born. An era, which we most likely remember the most. We have lived to see the effects it has had upon our society and world, within our lifetime. With the memories of World War II currently fading in the background, as the sands of time continue to push forward- One cannot help but recognize that the inevitable next chapter is aligning to unfold within the next few years.

So, with fate and history bound to repeat itself, one must simply prepare themselves and ask-

What if? 

    What if, we have a unique chance or opportunity, to reshape the world and create something better than before? What if, the unique alliances and partnerships which now lay before us, could be the answer to the pending question? And what if, for a second time in history, the United States choosing to ally itself with those who are determined to destroy Europe and raise a new world from its ashes?

    The reality of World War II is that the United States chose to side with the people who wished to destroy Europe and rebuild it in a different direction. Although this statement may seem confusing, the facts are that the forces which entered Europe in 1945 were not sent there to maintain it. The forces which took over the continent were there to rebuild, in a completely different direction. The United States sided with the U.S.S.R., an ideological opponent, with the sole hopes of rebuilding Europe according to their own agenda.

So why not repeat the cycles of the past, and do the same thing again?

    Why not have the United States, partner once again with the modern-day U.S.S.R., the People’s Republic of China, as well as the remnants of the post U.S.S.R. nation, modern-day Russia, instead?

    The collection of these three Super-Powers would account for an incredible partnership, the likes of which the world has never seen before. The opportunity to work together, and accomplish what so many other great men of the past have set out to achieve- to conquer Europe. To work together, with the greatest nations the history of the globe has ever recorded, and bring Europe into its command. To bend the European continent to their will, and exert their goals moving forward. Why does the United States of America not re-evaluate its position in the context of the Globe, and follow the footsteps of their ancestors of the past?

    The reality is, Europe and the nations of Europe, being ran by the European Union, are a shell of what they once were. Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Poland, Sweden- All once-great countries, which have been reduced to nothing more than a sick man. Reminiscent of the Ottoman Empire, on its last legs, causing chaos everywhere it went. The inevitable downfall, of once the greatest continent in the world, is all but written in stone.

So, the question becomes one of complete madness.

Madness, until one finally realizes how opportune it truly may be.

What if, the United States allied itself with Russia and China, and tore down Europe in order to build a New World instead?
