  What’s Your Value?      Sounds like a simple question. In reality, it is. Simply put, what is your value that you bring to the table? What is it that you offer, which separates you from the pack? Being able to answer this simple question is the first, most basic step of truly becoming who you are meant to be.      Understanding what it is we both enjoy and are good at, will help us move downstream towards creating a specific product or service. Being able to identify the things which make us tick, which make us interested, helps provide the fuel for the path we intend on walking. Once we are able to identify said path, the practice of our skills and interests will help you develop into something greater.      How many people do you know, who seem to be naturally talented?   Reality.      Another realm to conquer. Another space in which the physical bends to our will.        Perhaps the most challenging part of today’s reality, is abandoning all which you hope in exchange for what is. To surrender the unique desire to accomplish something extraordinary, in exchange for the here and now. In exchange for something worth absolutely nothing, said for only that which will remain here in the physical.      The truth is, I’m afraid to join reality. A man of faith, living in fear. I am afraid of what the world has become. A place where I am not accustomed to be. Somewhere I do not enjoy nor belong. Something that I had chosen to surrender, long, long ago. It ashamed me to even admit it. It shames me to even speak the word of fear. Like a disease, which slowly devours all in front of it. Living in fear is no way to live at all.   Wise Men Say- Only Fools Rush In.      But I can’t help, falling in love with you.      Had that stuck in my head this morning. No clue why. Can’t say I’m anywhere close to rushing in to anything at this point. However, I still find it to be one of the better songs I know.        Music and art have taken such a turn for the worse. Everything today is made with the goal of simply being bought and mass-consumed, to market and sell a product which holds zero emotional importance. It has been completely hijacked to nothing more than a game of numbers- be it on the billboard or in the bank account. The entire arts industry is at one of the worse crossroads of all-time. Which is a direst reflection of the society we currently live in.      We live in a period where arts and culture are dying. Slowly but surely, everything is beginning to fall apart.
