  What Is Morality?      What is this set of rules which we are meant to operate upon? Does anybody have the actual guidelines which we are meant to follow? Is there an overall consensus based upon our agreement of reality? Or are we all just acting upon our own intentions, disguising our actions as something greater than our wants? I believe it was Nietzsche who said, morality had aesthetics .      He basically argued, that if you killed a cockroach, nobody would bat an eye- however, if you killed a butterfly, everybody would lose their mind. It’s hard to argue with that kind of logic. It’s difficult to say that he was wrong in his assessment. Throughout history, over and over again, our morality has truly depended on the aesthetics we observe, and which side of the fence we sit on.   What A Wonderful Day!      I keep on hearing that line from the new Planet of the Apes movie, coming out today. Look at me go, advertising for a series that I’ll make zero dollars from!      What a wonderful day, indeed. What a wonderful day to ponder the question- could monkeys run this planet better than we could? Could they govern the Earth and do a better job?      Honestly, it feels like a trick question. The answer is probably not so black and white. What I would say though, is that the monkeys would probably be way less corrupt than humans are. They’d probably be less willing to make shoddy deals behind everyones back, to simply benefit their own hide. I like to believe that monkeys would not reach the level of corruption humans have, simply for their lack of experience.   The world is changing.      Dread it, Run from it- Destiny arrives all the same. And now, it’s here.      Every single day, there is a new opportunity to build upon the last one, to be able to create something new. We have reached an age where acceleration is boomin’. Things are now in motion which cannot be undone. We are travelling at the speed of light, in search of something more. Something which can change the Universe. I don’t know if it’s positive or negative, all I do know is that regardless of what I think, it’s going to happen. You cannot stop progress. You can barely even slow it down.   Do you ever wonder what it’s like to be normal?      Seriously, do you ever think about it? Do you ever sit back and pretend how easy life would be, if you simply folded and did whatever it took to fit in?      Imagine life. Waking up, not having a care in the world. Hurrying up as quickly as possible, just so you can make it to your group of friends. You all work together, in the same environment, tackling the same jobs. I often think of construction as a prime example. A group of individuals, all working together, on the same thing. They all share the same lifestyle, same passion, driven by the same clocks. Wake up early, get to work, grind away, finish your day, home, supper, bed. Like clockwork. Monday to Friday, no days off.      Honestly, it doesn’t sound half bad. It sounds almost, relaxing.   Time keeps on tickin’.      Monday, bloody Monday. We are gathered here today, to pay homage to the moon. As we embark on another week to remember, tackling the very evil which lies within the world. Soldiers of God, shine your light and shine it bright, for no weapon formed against shall prosper.        Sometimes I struggle with the idea of constantly moving forward. It becomes difficult, to increase your speed, with no given direction. The age-old saying is, without a heading, no wind is favourable. I suppose that is true. We are meant to be constantly pushing forward, chasing something ahead of us. Chasing a better house, better car, better opportunities. Yet we never really take a chance to sit back and smell the flowers. To appreciate what we already find ourselves surrounded by.
