One Year Later ⏳
365 Days. One Full Year. That’s how long it’s been. A full revolution around the Sun. One year ago today, I was living in my car down in Florida. Sleeping the trunk of my vehicle, parked in the parking lot of McDonalds. I know that sounds quite literally insane, and in hindsight perhaps it was. However, I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. Something about living in a small space and trying your best to survive brings out the animal inside of you. All of a sudden, theories and concepts you’ve grown up on fade away. The things you thought you knew and believed, evaporate in the heat while you’re dehydrating to death in 35+ degrees. No food, no water. No money either, go figure. I remember leaving Canada with $400 to my name. After paying gas just to get down there, I was left with about $100. 24 consecutive hours.
