The Northern 📍

  Time Travel.      One of the most interesting things I’ve ever read about, is Time-Travel. Not the loopy, “Back To The Future” type stuff. I’m talking more about the idea within itself. The thought of manipulating time, so that man can control it. That man can be in charge of his own destiny. That even the final enemy, will bend towards his will.      What I found so fascinating about it, is more about how we as a species used to think about it in the past. How we used to ponder the questions of the Universe, well before we even had an idea of it being true.      The story of Gilgamesh comes to mind. I believe, within his tale of heroics, the great Gilgamesh speaks of time travel as well. Of being able to manipulate the very substance we find ourselves swimming within, and controlling the outcome of tomorrow. How a story so old, from so many millenniums ago, deals with this- is beyond me.           What st...

  The Future Remains Unwritten.      On days like today, I do my best to remind myself that very sentence. That the future is still up for grabs. That we do not know what lies ahead, meaning there’s still time to change it.      As long as there is a future, there is hope. Not only for us individuals, who are caught in the greatest shift the world has ever seen. But also for those who have not yet landed, who have not yet been born into this world. The future is still unwritten, meaning there is still time for us to come together and change its path.      Some days feel grim. I won’t lie or sugar-coat it. Some days, all hope seems lost. All faith, tested. The darkness closes in from all angles, creating nothing more than the illusion of hopelessness. Which is exactly what it is- an illusion.
