  Beauty in the Struggle.      I started watching Lord of the Rings again. Honestly, one of the greatest pieces of fiction ever written. The passion for detail, as the very story itself comes to life, is second to none. The constant focus on the history of the races, with their complex battles and challenges faced throughout the ages, is extraordinary. The understanding of a complex chess board, with moving pieces from every angle, help paint an utter masterpiece. Something which we no longer see the likes of today.      I couldn’t help but wonder, why was it that the author was capable of understanding such complex ideas in their head? How was it, that one writer, could envision such a mass migration of parts and cultures, forming a conflict so great that it was documented and watched until this day?   I Long To Break Free.      I long to escape this cage that which I find myself in. To smash open the cell, which binds me to my feet. To eradicate the very frame, which keeps me from emerging within.        I long for the smell of the air, late at night, walking down the street again. I long for the crowded bars, where only non-verbal communication speaks louder than words. I long for the open battlefield, where words mean nothing more than sounds and syllables, flying emptily through the air. I long for the violence, where nothing else matters but choosing between life or death. ✶      Chaos is a ladder. An opportunity, that very few can truly seize. The opportunity to climb, to conquer. The opportunity to truly become what we are meant to be. Make no mistake- they are imprisoning us. They are creating a world where we are trapped within their rules, their boundaries.   I Grow Impatient.      Patience is a virtue. Everybody, everywhere, can recite that line. It is a phrase which has been used more often than I care to count. From waiting for the right moment to strike, to sitting still and allowing the future to unfold- patience is the cornerstone of all things surrounded.      Regardless, I grow impatient none the less. I grow tired of sitting around, waiting for life to happen. The age-old lie of simply being still, and all that is meant to be will magically appear. The nonsensical ideology that everything is happening as it is meant to happen, exactly when it’s meant to be. The never-ending hours and hours of sitting around, hoping things will one day be okay. ✶      The future is built by those who are brave enough to chase it.
