The Cultural Revolution. Last night, I watched an extremely moving interview. It was about a woman, who had moved to the United States, after living through the Chinese Revolution. The woman, whose name was Xi Van Fleet, talked about her experience in China, where their entire society changed, and how she saw tremendous parallels over here in the West. Xi was a woman who was born into China, before it had become a Communist State. The current leader, Mao, had power, yet like all other dictators- craved more. He then split from his party, and formed his own movement. This movement, which Mao had identified himself as the leader, aimed at attacking the rich, upper class of Chinese families around the country, in order to have them fall.
