Are You Having Fun? 🎈

Are You Having Fun?      Simple question, really. Are you having fun? Do you enjoy your everyday? Do you wake up, excited to get started to see where the drywall take you? Are you thrilled to begin?      If you aren’t excited, you’re likely to fail anyways. If you aren’t foaming at the mouth to attack whatever it is you’re after- you’re unlikely to succeed.      Having fun is the key ingredient. Being awake and in charge of your day-to-day is the secret towards becoming the best version of yourself. Understanding that whatever it is that drives you is the key to success. That the fire within, which ignites only when you’re having fun, will guide you. Being able to be free and creative in a way that compares to nothing else.      Most adults lose their fun. They wake up one morning, with the light burnt. The glow in their face and smile in their lives, completely wiped out. The forces of the exterior world have extinguish...

Revenge of the Writer ✍🏼

Refreshed. Recharged. Refocused.      Sometimes taking a short break from the usual scheduled program can do wonders. Sometimes, the mind, body and soul needs a break. Not necessarily a vacation, where you do nothing at all- but simply a break from the same old, same old. To resharpen your thoughts and focus on new tasks at hand. To recalibrate your goals and understand what it is you are truly looking for. To sig deep, and refine the purpose of life once again.      Times are challenging for everyone. Although admittedly, some are struggling more than others. This game we play called life, is rigged from the start. It’s been created so that certain individuals excel at a greater rate than others. It’s been taken over and controlled by those who wish to see their causes rise and lead the way, burying all those who are against it. It is a throne which one individual fights to claim it for themselves. And once they do, everything else falls into their ...

The Harbour ⚓️

Time Keeps On Tickin’.      Days become weeks, weeks become months. Soon, years will have passed. What have you accomplished with your time?      Have you built something worth-while, here living on Earth? Or have all you done is consume. Constantly chasing the new best thing, never doing anything to help improve the situation. The reality is, most people offer nothing of value to today’s world. We are constantly caught up in the rat race, running around and doing whatever it is possible to not face the darkness within.      Life is a really short journey, where we come, we see, then we leave. The trick is understanding how valuable our time is. Understanding it, then doing something worthwhile about it. The biggest mistake you ever hear an older person say, is how they wasted so much time. How they spent their days worrying or working on something that they do not hold dear. Arguing with individuals they do not care about. Time spent ...

The Climb 🏔️

The Solo Journey.      Being an artist requires one to walk their own path. It requires them to move in a direction, when others cannot see where you step.      The journey of an artist is one filled with people who doubt and disbelieve in what you do. They will mock, judge, and even disagree with the path. Yet one things remains true, above all else- it is not their path to take.      I often think of the quote that ships are safer in the harbour, but thats not what ships were built to do. The idea that we as individual will always be safer by staying conserved and in line, rather than stepping out and putting ourselves out there. In a sense, it’s right. We are safer, staying in the harbour. We are guaranteed food, friends, family, and a good life. But that’s not what ships were built for, is it? That’s not what we as humans were given life for, after all.      Being able to take risks is necessary. Being able to step o...

Sans Soleil ☀️

Sans Soleil.      Rainy and frigid. The Spring motto, here in Canada. What a time to be alive, no question about it.      We are on the edge, the very precipice, of something dramatic. I can’t fully explain what it is. All I know is, I feel it in my soul. I feel it, knowing that the path is finally starting to reveal itself. Rumi would be proud.      Life really is about committing to the bit. Sometimes, we forget about it and just go with whatever it is we are thrown into. We are told by the world who to be, and we simply accept it. The will of men has never been weaker. Yet the lucky few, the very select individuals, who are capable of stepping back and saying no- I will not play your game. I will not live your 9-5. I will not simply bend over and kneel to your rule. The select few, who are given the opportunity to build their own dream life, and create something which will last forever. That is the individual I strive to be.  ...

The Climb 🗻

I think I found my sound.      One can never be certain. However this time, I feel like the possibilities are endless. I feel like the pieces are slowly aligning into their slots.      Perhaps God holds us back and makes us wait until the road ahead is clear. He wants to make sure that we learn our lessons at rock bottom, before we head to the top. The climb is treacherous, no doubt about it. Yet step by step, with faith in the process, we continue to climb. The mountain slowly becomes conquerable, as the hand of God continues to push us up with every single step.      Still a ton of work to be done, no doubt about it. Don’t plan the parade just yet. In fact, there is still so much work to be done, that I should be working right now as we speak. However, as mentioned- the path has revealed itself. The direction in which I am meant to walk, has appeared right before my eyes.      It’s been a long journey, I won’t lie to y...
