Born to Win 🏆

Back In The Game.      After a short time-out, we’re officially back. The shoes have been laced up. The horn has been raised. The time keeper has been alerted. Lo and behold, the game carries on.      Finally being back in the race is a bag full of mixed feelings. On one hand, the ability to eventually rejoin society sounds like a blast. The ability to get out of the same old, same old, in exchange for something new- that excites me. However, the need to return to the race, where every step is the same as the last, where every second is used against you- that part sounds dreadful.      In reality, we must learn to accept the good and the bad, and the ugly. We must become comfortable understanding that in order to achieve what we wish, we must sometimes be willing to do things we do not. We must be comfortable in accepting the means to an end. To use these stepping stones to propel us forward, so that we may rise and claim our destiny. ...

R.I.P. Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau 🕊️

R.I.P. Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau      Absolutely heartbreaking news to wake up to. To learn that two brothers, two athletes, two stand-up individuals, killed by a drunk driver. The words themselves almost don’t ring true as I write them. Something so hard to even believe, that it causes me pain just to say out loud. An absolute tragedy, in every sense of the word.        Sudden death like this is such a difficult event to truly understand. It is so far-out and uncommon, that the very thought of it takes a while to truly seep in. The constant denial of learning about it, not truly believing what we see. How just yesterday, things were no different- only to wake up today and find that the world has changed.      It’s a weird thing, learning about the deaths of two athletes. For starters- I never personally knew the two brothers. However, the real sense of tragedy is the connection we all shared. The tight-knit community that we ...

Creation 🧱

And I Wonder.      If you know. What it means. What it means. To find your dreams come true.      The grind don’t stop. Every single day is a new opportunity to get one step closer to the individual you wish to truly be. The chance to finally break free and become who you were alway meant to become. To achieve your destiny, and step into the world you were meant to create.      No one said it would be easy. No one said it would be a walk in the park. Yet, despite all the challenges and difficulties which lie ahead- we push forward regardless. We look at all the doubters and let them know that we will succeed, no matter the cost.        In my own belief, success is simply a habit. It is a practice of something, to the point to where it becomes second-nature. Where the compound interest you accumulate, over an extended period of time, simply becomes who you are. Lance Armstrong became one of the greatest cyclist of al...

The Void ⚫️

When You Close Your Eyes- What Do You See?      When you stare into the void, right before you drift off into nothing- what is it is that occupies your mind? What is it that keeps you awake, as you prepare for the journey into nothingness?      Our mind is a powerful thing. Perhaps, the most powerful thing we will ever experience. It literally shapes reality for us, as we travel through space-time. Whatever it is we seek, will find us. Whatever it is we obsess over, will be drawn towards.      Understanding our minds can be one of the more complex issues. In fact, most people today still do not understand the potency of it. They do not comprehend how to operate their most powerful weapon. Instead, the saturate it with useless information and concepts which do nothing but rob its power. They choose to live a life of compliance, going through the motions, day after day. The truth is, if more people knew how to truly use their mind- they ...

Learn to Love Again 🫀

These Nights, We Learn to Love Again.      These Nights. Good times all around. I finally remember what it’s like to be human. To feel. To touch. To love.      Okay, maybe that last one was a stretch. What is love, anyways? Nothing more than a chemical imbalance. And let me tell you- I’ve got enough of those going on as we speak.        Life is funny. I suppose nothing happens at all, until all of a sudden, everything happens at once. Perhaps thats my sign to get back on the horse. To return to society, and become a functioning member of it once again. I must be honest, I do not hate the sound of it. I do not hate the idea of finally being free from my chains, and being able to go out and live once again.        Times have been tough and extremely difficult, no doubt about it. Yet, despite all of the challenges, I remain grateful. Grateful, because I was able to pass thru the eye of the storm, and emerge the ot...

Leap of Faith 🌴

Leap Day, Leap Year.      Yesterday, I lost power at my place. A storm rolled through the neighbourhood and knocked us off the power grid for most of the day.      I’ve experienced not having power before, and honestly it’s never really bothered me too much. However, losing power in the dead of winter, when it’s freezing cold outside- sucked. I was unable to perform any of my regular tasks, missing my workouts. No access to heat, water or internet made things challenging to say the least. Regardless, life waits for nobody. I had to find a way forward.      What transpired yesterday can be called an unexpected day off. A day, where I took time to truly sit back and reflect on it all. Actually, that might be a bit of a lie. I took time to really do nothing instead. To be completely free from all forces, and allowing myself to simply hang. My first day off, in forever. I can’t even tell you how long it’s been.        O...
