Creation 🧱
And I Wonder.
If you know. What it means. What it means. To find your dreams come true.
The grind don’t stop. Every single day is a new opportunity to get one step closer to the individual you wish to truly be. The chance to finally break free and become who you were alway meant to become. To achieve your destiny, and step into the world you were meant to create.
No one said it would be easy. No one said it would be a walk in the park. Yet, despite all the challenges and difficulties which lie ahead- we push forward regardless. We look at all the doubters and let them know that we will succeed, no matter the cost.
In my own belief, success is simply a habit. It is a practice of something, to the point to where it becomes second-nature. Where the compound interest you accumulate, over an extended period of time, simply becomes who you are. Lance Armstrong became one of the greatest cyclist of all time, simply because all he did was cycle. He pushed himself to work at it, every single day. Ask him how many days off a year he took, and I’m sure the number would be astounding. Once you begin to understand his habits, you begin to understand why he achieved all which he achieved. Same goes for Michael Phelps. Tiger Woods. Wayne Gretzky. Kobe Bryant.
If you decided one day, that you wish to lose weight and become healthier, what would you do? You would probably change your diet, and find a form of exercise to burn the fat away. Anybody who has ever gone to the gym knows very well, that the first few days are the most challenging. The task of breaking away from your usual routine, to force yourself to do something you are not used to doing. To change the foods your consume daily. To push yourself, despite being tired or fatigued. To break free from the continuous cycle of mediocrity which one currently finds themselves trapped within.
We humans are creatures of habit. Once we become familiar with a habit, it becomes extremely difficult to break. Once we get trapped within a routine, the results normally speak for themselves. Take an oil driller, who wakes up every single day at 5am, goes to work and puts in a 12 hour shift. The routine of doing so at first, is challenging. It drains them of all their energy, creating a cycle of constant staring. Until all of a sudden, it becomes all they know. It becomes their second-nature. Then, all of a sudden, they begin to thrive in it. They begin to create and build a lifestyle which directly mirrors their habits. Soon, the man who once was struggling to complete his tasks, begins to thrive at them. All based upon compound habits.
Life is very much the same way, in my humble opinion. Take somebody who constantly drinks. Their drinking becomes a habit. And whatever it is they sow, they reap. Same with drugs. Same with entertainment. Same with comfort. The never-ending loop, of spending each and every single day, doing the same habits over and over again.
I began fasting, a few years back. I would wake up, and not eat my first meal of the day for roughly 4 hours. I would stretch out the space between my breakfast, and then close my window 6 hours later. At first, it was challenging. I found myself struggling in not eating all the time. Not simply reaching for food, whenever I felt like it. Something about the habit of simply consuming what I want, when I wanted it, became my routine. Breaking free from that cycle was a challenging thing to say the least. Regardless, sticking to my guns, I finally was able to do it. I was finally more than comfortable creating a 6-hour window, where I eat. Now, it’s become second-nature. Now, I hardly think about it at all.
Creation is much the same as anything else. Creation is one of the ultimate forms of power that we can possess, here own Earth. It is a spiritual process, where one must be able to pull ideas out from their head, and bring them to life. To build and assemble a specific concept from the spiritual world, and introduce it into our reality. Creation is a difficult, challenging- yet rewarding task. The ability to literally perform magic, here on Earth.
Habits build better creations. You wish to get better at creating? Simple- create. Everything in life is artwork. Everything in the world can be created. From cooking food, to building sculptures, to writing music. The entire process of creation is simply an act. A habit. The most creative people in the world, are simply those who apply their talents in all that they do in life. Their habits follow them, as they tackle any new task in which they set their eyes upon.
Life is a direct reflection of our habits.
So ask yourself- what are you going to do today?
Glory Be,
Amen.
