Rise of the Phoenix πŸ₯š

 Generation Geezer.

Old people are ruining everything. Before you quit on me, hear me out. They’re going to hell, and they’re bent on dragging us down with them.

I don’t know if it’s their lack of faith, or their lack of morals, which is worse. The only thing they seem not to lack, is money. Which they are hellbent as ever towards wasting it, and completely ruining the future for everybody else. These people are seriously demented, and have major issues when it comes to understanding the most basic concepts.

My anger towards them is something which I struggle to hide. Although some of them mean well, they simply cannot keep up in today’s world. The age of information has proven to be too much for them. They cannot comprehend what is going on. They cannot see through the illusion they have spent most of their lives participating within. The struggle to wake up and acknowledge their own mistakes is some what of a foreign concept, when it comes to their generation.

I read something extremely interesting the other day, about generations and cycles. It basically stated that the average cycle of generations is roughly 4-5 cycles. The first, always have it off best, where they are able to prosper and buy into the illusions which their government sell them. They become so immersed within, so pampered and well off, that they fall victim to the mentality. They believe that everything is meant for them, and that they are truly in control of everything. Talk about Ego overdrive. The second follows in their footsteps, with not much change. The third, things slowly begin to deteriorate, leaving them in the midst of a storm for which they know nothing about. They cannot fathom nor grasp the severity of their parents and grandparents actions, leaving them clinging to a sinking ship. And the fourth, who tend to have the most difficult of times, to break free from the reign of terror and see the world for what it truly is. The breaker of chains, who end up spending their lives either escaping the dying world, or fighting for a new one to be born.

Make no mistake, we are in the midst of a fight. The fight of our lives, without being too dramatic. Things are currently in motion which have never been seen before, here on Earth. I suppose every generation could say that, seeing as how things are always advancing. However, I do still think it is important to remember that history repeats itself, over and over again. The non-stop rotation of the wheel, constantly providing the same concepts and lessons to humanity until they finally figure it out.

Reading helps one better grasp reality. From my own experiences, reading has shown me that individuals in the past have often gone through whatever it is we are going through today. Whether it be a break up, to a health crisis, to simply war and fear. The knowledge of mankind has yet to fail me, when it comes to addressing today’s reality. Which leads me to question whether or not we have been here before. Whether or not this is hardly our first rodeo, riding around this floating rock called Earth. Perhaps we all have a role to play in the production of humanity, leading us to a desired outcome which is still far, far away.

If each generation is responsible for something different, if each age group commits the same mistakes as their past- then perhaps we have a mission here, after all. Perhaps our purpose here on Earth is to be of service to humanity, instead of simply believing everything is at random with no divine intervention. Perhaps this older generation is meant to completely fuck things up, so that my generation may show up and correct the ship. So that we may work together to build a new world, as we steer humanity back on course.

Having faith means being willing to walk in the dark. To take each step, fulling knowing that whatever it is which waits for us, will be ahead. Understanding that sight isn’t everything, and that sometimes we must be willing to look within. A quote I once read which always stood out, was that faith is not tested in the light, but rather when things are at their darkest. That faith isn’t something which is meant to occur when the path is easy, but rather when all hope seems lost. That despite all the information and chaos surrounding us, there is a secret order in place. Carl Jung was the individual who coined that last part, and overall, I’d have to say I agree.

Knowledge is power, and power requires strength. I’ve said that last part multiple times, over and over. I still stand by it, without hesitation. Reading and absorbing knowledge brings an individual incredible power. In the age of information, we are creating powerful human beings. Human beings, who are going to have access and influence over so many aspects of life, moving forward. Individuals who will soon be able to shape and cultivate specifics details into our everyday lives. The progress and potential we as a species currently hold is higher than ever. We have the opportunity to create a future which has never been seen, nor dreamed, before. Our only obstacle- making sure these boomers don’t burn us down with their sinking ship.

Despite all the negativity, despite all the illusions and lies- today I am hopeful. Today, I believe that there is a window for which we will survive. Where we will be able to emerge from this dark night, victorious. That this generation will be able to step out from the shadows, stronger than ever. Our faith is being put to the test, there’s no question about it. We are being pushed like never before. It is only a matter of time before things crack. Before the levy opens wide and the water comes rushing out. Before the storm finally breaks loose.

Regardless, we shall remain standing. We shall keep the faith.

Together, we shall build a new world upon the ashes of the old.

        Glory Be,

                    Amen.
