The Media is the Enemy 📸
The Media is the Enemy.
Propaganda has always been my favourite word in the English dictionary. The thought of being able to manipulate and control a population, based on the repeated messages and images being shown to them, is extremely powerful. How an entire civilization, an entire generation, can be completely consumed by this method, is nowhere short of magical.
Today, we are subjected to forms of magic and propaganda to which the world has never seen before. Never before in history, has a population had to go through as much of a challenge as we do today. Every single corner of our days have been infected with the same, propagandized message. From the advertisements on our phones, to the music being blasted over the airwaves. From the television we consume, to the very pictures and posters glued across the walls of the city. Every single second of our lives, are being exposed to complex and dark propaganda.
How can we, as a civilization, break free from this spell? How can we regain control of our minds, and find a way to once again critically analyze and think for ourselves? The reality is- it won’t be easy. It will be a task which will require the best of us to suffer at the hands of the oppressors.
First, exposing those who are promoting and controlling the narrative is crucial. Who is it exactly who has their fingers on the buttons? Who is it, that chooses which messages to cultivate and promote, onto the clueless population? What is their end-goal, with their propaganda? What does this group of people gain, by subduing and controlling an entire population? Once we begin to explore and answer this question, can we only begin to slowly break free from its grasp.
Secondly, how can we help those who are too far deep, and have lost their ability to critically think? How can we break free those who have been consumed by these ideologies, which have betrayed everything they and their families have stood for, for generations? The complexity of not only dismantling the propaganda, but also removing its roots, is an extremely difficult process.
The reality of our situation today, is that propaganda has and will always continue to be used as a weapon against its citizens. Defeating one arm of the media, will only result with another taking its place. The power vacuum of control will never simply not exist. It will continue to be driven forward, at any and all cost. However, understanding who controls it, as well as understanding what it is they have to gain, is a major step towards assessing the nature of the forces.
Joseph Goebbels once wrote that there was no good or bad propaganda, but simply propaganda that either worked, or did not. Today, we see the same theories and strategies being implemented, across the spectrum. The propaganda we are being forced-fed today has become lame and sloppy, for those who are aware of the casters and those who are making these decisions. However, regardless of how good or bad it is- the main messages have been effective. So effective, that we have lost control of the majority of our own people, to a foreign force.
Regaining control over the population is a task which will be incredibly difficult. There will be no reward, for those who fight to liberate their own people. The idea that the battle will end, and one group will emerge victorious, is a childish fairytale. The reality of the war of propaganda is that the battle never ends. The continued fight for freedom, from a foreign parasite, will require blood, sweat and tears, like never before.
Only once we begin to identify the parasite, will we finally be able to begin removing its clutch on our own people, and their minds.
Godspeed.
