The Vision π️
The Vision.
I’ve had Aerosmith’s song, Amazing, stuck in my head for the past few days. Everywhere I go, I keep on singing it. The lyrics are engrained in my head, causing me to think about them 24/7. With a blink of an eye, you finally see the light. That one bar, forever stuck inside my head.
The blink is here. I have seen the light. I have seen the need for my existence. The ability to work and create something which has never been done. The attempt to build up, from scratch, something so deep and profound, that even the greatest of minds will sit back in awe at the complexity. The capacity to truly start from scratch, with absolutely zero, and design a world where imagination is to run wild and free. So is the way of the creator. So is the way of those who dare to dream.
Creation is something which is extremely difficult. Not only is it something which literally must appear from nothing, it is also something which nobody else can see. The vision is what is lodged within one’s mind, and therefor cannot be brought to life without tremendous power. The power and ability to draw from the unknown, draw from the void, and recreate it here in the physical. The creator is one with tremendous power, who is capable of finally putting the pieces together to expose what it is he sees from within.
The struggle is something which is necessary. If a creator only knows clear skies and warmth, they will never be able to reach into their mind and pull out the true darkness which lies within. The creator must be willing to face both the light and the dark, in order to achieve balance. Chaos is necessary in order to give birth to a star. The cosmos are direct reflections of who we are and what we are capable of, truly showing us the world in which we live in. Being able to balance the darkness with the light, will give us the power necessary to reach right in between the two spaces, and seize whatever it is which we find lying there.
Sometimes when we are lost amongst the chaos, we can find it difficult to move on. The familiarity of the never-ending struggle quickly becomes our dopamine. The pain and suffering become so familiar, that we no longer care for anything else. The constant pull of the world, holding us down, begins to feel like a weighted-blanket. The depression of knowledge pushes against us, working at all times to keep us where we are. It is only by choosing not to allow it to do so, that we are able to escape the inevitable.
Knowledge is power, as previous mentioned, over and over again. The knowledge that we as a species are doomed, is not something to carry around lightly. The fact that we continue to go down this path, without truly taking a moment to acknowledge the consequences of our actions, highlights the need for the human species to reset. We actively have chosen our own demise, as we quickly move towards the inevitable fate of death. The literal void of all humanity, waiting for us to finally reach its mouth. Hanging around the cusp, as we prepare to jump into the unknown.
Looking back can never be beneficial, especially when life can only live forward. However, understanding the past is one of the most important aspects, in my humble opinion. Our understanding must be that we are in the need to move forward, or perish. That we must continue to strive towards progress, before we lose it all once more. Throughout history, there have been great resets. Great moments, where everything is knocked back down to square one. Perhaps, in this moment, things will be the same. And yet, perhaps, this moment, things will continue forward. One can never truly know.
With the knowledge that we are headed towards oblivion, it is crucial to empty our soul while we still can afford it. We must be willing to let go of all which we carry within our mind, and feed it into the world directly. We who carry the weight of knowledge, most transform it into expressive art. The art, which will be left behind for others to observe. Art, which will require no explanation, but trigger the thought-provocative aspects which linger deep within one’s soul. The true definition of causing chaos within.
I fear for the world, and the state it is in. Make no mistake, I no longer am afraid to speak it. My fear of the situation worsens, with each passing day. I do not see a way which we will be able to escape this tunnel, without losing our lives. Yet, humanity seems to be hell-bent upon it, anyways. So be it. Let the worse of the Universe hit us, so that we may be apart of the greatest end.
If this truly is goodbye, let it be known that the art, the decorations, the stories, the power, which we have created, come from a place deep within. Let those who come after us, know the story of those who stood tall today. Let those who wish to build a brighter future, be inspired by those who create with what they were given, today.
Let the artist use his paintbrush-
and let the world be his canvas for all to see.
Glory Be,
Amen.
