United We Stand ⚔️

 United We Stand.

Divided we fall. Make no mistake, the most powerful people in the world know this well. They work endlessly, night and day, to divide the masses. To create such a hostile environment where we constant argue and bicker about everything, without ever realizing we’re being pushed towards conflict. It’s one of the oldest games in the book.

The question becomes: How can we move past the distractions? How can we overcome the evil which has been sent to destroy us? How do we unite the people towards a common cause? The question is one which is difficult to answer. One which required tremendous vision and leadership, instead of fear and distractions.

Bringing people together is a tremendous skill. The ability to take humans from all different forms of life, and unite them towards a common cause or goal, remains one of the greatest skills we humans poses. Think of how a sports team, located in the heart of the city, has the ability to unite people from all walks of life. Some poor. Some rich. Some avid sports lovers. Some simply there for the status. The multiple aspects, all pulling each and every one of us towards the arena. Something only sports can achieve.

The goal of our lives should be to create a world where something other than sports can unite us. Something where everybody from all backgrounds can come together and share a common goal. It is a daunting challenge, when you think about it. One which some men have spent their lives trying to solve.

Church used to be a great example. Religion used to bring people together and create a strong sense of community. Individuals from all social status’ would gather on Sunday, and strengthen their relationships with others. The bonding and discussing of open topics, as well as their common faith, brought together a strength in unity not often seen today. This drastically changed, as soon as we as a society moved away from the Church.

Christianity is a prime example of a faltering religion. At least, faltering here in the West. The people have gone from some of the strongest, tightest-knit individuals, to nothing more than a punch-line at the end of a joke. It is a true tragedy, to say the least. Entire cities and communities, completely destroyed by the lack of conviction. The lack of taking their religion seriously. The lack of understanding the purpose of uniting with their own brethren, every Sunday morning.

Tolerance is not a Christian value. Plain and simple. Neither is it a Muslim value as well. Both faiths are extremely strict in their practices, formed an iron-clad fist upon their respected population. The issue with this is that the people have been distracted and tempted by evil beyond our wildest imaginations. Sources of indecency and unholy practices, being promoted within the community. Slowly but surely pulling us all apart, leading us in different directions than that which we ought to be in.

The question becomes, who’d o you blame? Do you blame those who seek to destroy us? Those who tempt us with evil and pull us apart by promoting their ideologies? Or do you blame those who are weak in their faith, allowing themselves to be pulled apart from the inside first? Personally, I blame the second. I blame those who did not defend their practices and communities in the first place.

Whether we like to admit it or not, we are being divided and conquered from within. Reality does not care about your thoughts and morals. It only cares about the black and white, the cause and effects. Understanding that this is happening is the first step towards creating a better world. Understanding that this division is being sown by our enemies is the first acknowledgement necessary in order to conquer our foes. Without facing reality, we cannot kill the dragon and rise from the flames again.

Men, it has become our duty to lead the way. It has fallen squarely upon our shoulders, to fight through the lies and oppression, and show our families what we are capable of again. The ability to fight through the injustice, and bring ourselves back to the helm of the family tree. To show our women and children, that we are true leaders of the new world. To reclaim the throne which is rightfully ours, and guide the next generation towards a better life- not a worse one.

Change is difficult- no doubt about it. Change requires the ability to first reflect and acknowledge the mistakes we have made. Yet once we take that courageous first step, the rest of the path reveals itself. The sea splits apart, as we begin to embrace the journey ahead. Eventually, the fruits of our labour begin to take hold, and we shall find ourselves looking back at all the positive we have influenced.

Be not afraid of change. Instead, embrace it. Grab the demons by their horns, and cast them back to the depths from which they came.

        Glory Be,

                    Amen.
