Age of Information 🖥️
What A Time.
Seriously. Sit down and think about it. What a time to be alive.
Looking back at it in a couple years, we will all realize that we lived through one of the greatest transitions in history. Ever. Things which are set in motion that cannot be undone. Things moving at speeds hither to undreamt of. The age of information is truly going to explode with a bang.
One of the greatest inventions in today’s world is the ability to send information from one part of the globe to another, all within a matter of seconds. This truly revolutionary act is something out of a dream, with the entire global community becoming permanently connected online. The ability to form a global consciousness, allowing all of humans to send and receive information at an instant.
There are obviously huge positives to this. Think of how the average individual is now able to equip themselves with knowledge like never before. They are capable of understanding things the moment they happen. Being informed, and given the immediate power to act upon it. Imagine the battle of Waterloo, where Napoleon fought an eventually lost. That information would have been more valuable than gold, the moment it happened. It would have allowed the world to know which way the war had swung, instead of having to sit around and wait for word df mouth to reach their town, days after the event unfolded. The ability to know things the second they happen, giving people an opportunity to prepare accordingly.
However, like all things, positives always have a negative side as well. The sharing of information can be a negative, especially when the information is fraudulent or misleading. For example, communicating with the masses straight lies and nothingness can result is a massive energy shift. These shifts can then be manipulated and controlled, to help create a desired outcome. One can produce mass amounts of propaganda, allowing the average individual to be completely in the dark and mislead on current affairs. This can have disastrous results, leading an entire population astray.
Propaganda has and always will be the tool for the masses. With the proper production and constant pressure, anything is possible. One can promote and falsify information to the point where the average individual is no longer capable of distinguishing fact from fiction. The concept becomes nothing more than a new reality, driving the average individual to conclusions which hold no basis what-so-ever. The art of propaganda is simply repeating a lie, over and over again. Eventually, even the strongest of wills begins to falter, as the constant bombardment of information chips away at their own consciousness.
Repeat a lie often enough, and it soon becomes the truth. This is the method which has been deployed against the global population for years. From the old ages to now, the formula has remained the same. Tell the world that the sky is green. At first, they won’t believe you. Then, they’ll debate. Eventually, even the brightest begin to question it. And finally, they just cave in. It becomes simply a matter of time and money, to promote a false message. Like carving a marble sculpture, slowly picking away at the rigid rock.
Most of our lives are ran off propaganda. Whether we are brave enough to admit it or not, we have all been duped. Lie after lie, slowly but surely we all buy in. Only the strongest are brave enough to admit they’ve been fooled. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, can’t put the blame on you. Fool me three times? Well, J. Cole has a pretty good song about that one. The reality is, we as a global consciousness are waking up to the propaganda. We as a population are seeing thru the veil of lies. Most of our lives have been built around false information. We have heard the same words repeated over and over again since birth, slowly leading us astray.
Information is the most valuable currency. With it, you can bring the world to its knees. You can bend even the strongest of soldiers. You can create an entire civilization based off of lies. Yet one thing remains certain- eventually, it will crumble. Eventually, the truth shall see the light. God has a way of reminding us that evil cannot and will not prevail. That even the deadliest of grips can weaken over time. Evil corrupts all, even itself.
Through the age of information, it is crucial to remain vigilant. Crucial, to consider all aspects and angles of the truth. Understand where it’s coming from, and who it benefits. The reality is, things are more complex now than ever. The truth is a matter of circumstances. One may argue for or against it, regardless of the outcome.
In the age of information, it is important to stand tall and to not allow the truth to falter. To not allow the world and its lies to bring you to your knees. To not allow it to change you into something you are not. To stand strong against, fearing no evil. Fearing no weapon formed against.
To open up your eyes to realize the real lies which lay in your path.
Glory Be,
Amen.
