Creation ✴️

Days become Weeks, Weeks become Years.

Time no longer feels real. I am slowly trapped within a never-ending cascade of motion, where everything slowly slips away.

Life is this really weird phenomenon, and I don’t seem to understand it. At least, I don’t seem to understand the system which we humans have created. Reality and the Universe would be much better off without ever existing, without ever truly being born. Yet here we are, alive and powerful beyond all measures. Some things simply do not make sense.

I often think of the quote from Dune, where the Arrakis soldier says that Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to experience. I definitely get that, because I agree. No matter how hard we search for the answer, no matter how deep we dive- all we find is more questions. Never-ending questions, like a rabbit hole with no end. Wiser men than me have dedicated their lives to the search for the answer, yet Death has greeted them anyways. Perhaps I should simply accept it for what it is, and understand that ever I do not hold the power to cheat Death.

Understanding where we as a species come from would do wonders for us, in my humble opinion. Understanding where we originate, and what forces were used to conjure us would clarify most of our daily struggles. If we were created as a slave race, should we not know the truth? If we were born from the clay of the Earth, should we not return to it? Often I wonder these questions, and often I am left with nothing more than headaches and heartbreaks instead. The truth is such a foreign concept in today’s world, that most people wouldn’t even recognize it if it came up to their front door and knocked.

We are being lied to by our own system, that much I have no doubt about. I have come to accept that those in power do not wish for us to reclaim our own. To be honest, I can’t blame them. If I were to rule the world, I would want to keep the general public in the dark and clueless as much as possible. Imagine, 8 billion souls, all operating on their own levels. The chaos would be unworldly. Death and abuse of power would be the norm. No. In the grand scheme of things, I can understand the hierarchy. Perhaps having a system or a ladder is necessary, in order to ensure our races’ survival.

If we were created by an all-powerful being, then what is our purpose here on Earth? There has to be a reason to all of it, no? Why would an individual go thru all the motions of creation, simply for no other reason than to create? I suppose it is possible, but I still don’t buy it. No. Any individual who has gone thru the creative process before knows that the purpose of creation is to have an end-goal associated with it. Not necessarily an end-goal in the sense of accomplishing a specific task or mission, but an end-goal to the process which they put themselves under. When creating music, I make sure to do whatever is necessary to finish my creation and modify it so that the sound comes out as I view fit. There’s a process with a purpose behind it. When building a sandcastle, one has a clear vision and purpose of the castle they are creating. Then, surely, when creating the Human species, one must have had a vision in mind, no?

I suppose I’m yet again asking existential questions with little to no chance of discovering their true meaning. Perhaps I am yet again wasting time and daylight, burning away at questions which will never be fulfilled. Yet I still believe them to be necessary. I still believe they are worth asking out loud.

We’re not meant to stay here, on Earth. Whatever our future holds, it does not remain here. Something else is calling us, something else is driving us, to move forward. The constant thirst and quest for knowledge and power are driving factors, which even the hungriest souls cannot seem to quench.

If we are the gods from the past- the ones who created us- are we meant to move forward and create our own as well? Are we simply meant to follow our footsteps, in the creation of another species/race? How many planets are out there, which are currently full of life, waiting to be enslaved? And if we do find the power to truly travel and rule the cosmos, will we find ourselves face-to-face with our creators? What happens then? Will there be a power struggle between those who created us, and ourselves? I cannot see another path other than violence, leading us to fall in line and return to our slave-like settings.

No matter how you slice it, we as a species are meant to serve. We serve higher ups, we serve others. We serve our Creator, every single day. I don’t even know if we as a species are capable of anything else but serving. Man without purpose leads to a destructive path. We see examples of it every single day. Men (and women) without goals, engaging in distractions and self-harming behaviours. Drugs. Alcohol. Gambling. All these things which keep us humans from reaching our true potential. And for what? An escape from our feelings of powerlessness. An escape from the reality we now call home. The truth is, we are weak. We are lost. We are afraid. How can we, as a species, live life moving forward, with the knowledge that we are worthless? That we serve no grand purpose, no grand significance in the cosmos? How can man continue forward in life, knowing that it is all a zero-sum game?

The human mind can only stretch so far, before it is completely broken. Once shattered, there is no turning back. Some things are not meant to be known. The reality is, I do not believe we are meant to understand it- at least not in our current form. There is more to the Universe than what we see with our two eyes. Our mind is the true key to our unlimited potential. We as a species must find a way to break free from this container we currently find ourselves trapped within, in order to fully experience what this reality has to offer.

        Glory Be,

                    Amen.
