Societal Demise 📉

I watched an interview with a French scientist named Jacques Vallée last night.

    To be honest, it kinda freaked me out. Jacques Vallée is a huge advocate for Unidentified Flying Objects, better known as UFO’s. The entire conversation, was eye-opening and interesting to say the least. It tied in to multiple other stories and interviews I’ve watched on the subject- from Bob Lazar working on an unidentified space craft, to Betty and Barney Hill and their abduction story. I think the thing which freaks me out the most about these stories, is their eerie similarities between them all. That was one of the themes in which Jacques was speaking about as well. How all these stories, from all these people, millions of miles away, all share similar background data. They all have bits and pieces, that add up to a bigger picture. One of the more interesting stories was that of the children in South Africa, who claimed that back in 1994 that an unidentified object came down, made contact with the children at a school, and communicated with them telepathically. What stood out about this, was that apparently the message they relayed was that humans were in danger of mass destruction. The creatures apparently told the children of the school, that if humanity continued forward on the trajectory they were currently on, that the technology they were using would lead to their demise. 

    I think that was the part that got to me the most. The supposed message in which these beings relayed to the children. The idea that the technology we are currently using, will have catastrophic consequences on the human race. Why did it shock me? Because I agree. Because now, more than ever, I look around at the world and see exactly what it is they are saying. Society is in a free-fall towards certain destruction, something which is difficult to truly explain. We have been consumed and completely over-stimulated by our cellphones, televisions, radios, computers, to the point where our brains are completely fried. Everything we do in society right now, is backwards. There is no more reason, no more logic, no more morals, which guide us on this path we walk. Which is a scary thought to say the least. I am not afraid of a society where individuals all adhere to a certain code. A code of honour, respect, and safety. However, with the current state of things, I do not feel comfortable. Everywhere you walk, individuals are in their own little world, head in the sand, completely and utterly bankrupt. There is no more code of honour, code of respect, for every single human being. Human decency has been completely destroyed, and we have slowly turned into animals. We have honestly gone more backwards than forwards, as a society. The very thought of this is enough to make one nauseous.

    I suppose the answer to all this is to simply join the crowd! Put your head down, into the sand, and live life backwards! No morals, no code of ethics, no responsibilities! Just simply run around, do as you feel, act out as you want, and allow your intrusive thoughts to drive you towards being a complete savage. To simply pick a city, live within it, and act accordingly. Let go of all knowledge of the human race, all lessons and guidelines which you have learned growing up as a child, and assimilate within the pack. Follow the sheep to the slaughter house, and just enjoy the journey along the way. It’s such a simple, yet genius, thought process. If you are capable of getting a small portion of the heard to act a certain way, the rest of the crowd will follow. They will bend their will, and simply fall into place. They will look around, and the fear of being left out, the fear of missing out, will drive them towards joining in on their own free will. It’s absolute madness when you truly think about it. How we as humans, who are gifted the ability to literally pursuit anything in which we consider worthy, simply throw away all our morals and ambitions in order to fit in. Nobody wants to miss out on a good party, nobody wants to miss out on a special event. We sacrifice all our dreams and goals, simply to slave away, in order to afford the chance to fit in with the crowd. 

    Something inside of me will not accept it. Something inside of me, refuses to lower myself simply to fit into the crowd. I don’t know exactly what it is, but I’ve had it ever since I was a child. Zero desire to fall in line and shut up. Zero desire to become a number in the system. Zero desire to simply drop down and surrender to those who claim to be above me. I simply will not accept the idea that this is the path for which I was born to walk. And while that may sound noble, it may sound brave- it’s exhausting. Now, more than ever, I am tired. Not tired, physically. Not tired, something that a good night’s sleep can fix. No. I am tired in my soul. I have become exhausted, sitting around, watching ourselves completely erode and reduce our life to nothing more than a sham. I truly do not support or agree with the direction we the human race are headed towards. How could anybody, really? We have become driven by consumerism, driven by profit. Now, more than ever, we have the means and technologies to help every single individual on this planet, grow into healthy human beings. Yet instead, we spend it on products and entertainment, throwing all our resources away. We are chasing a feeling, one that we cannot seem to get a grip upon. Like chasing a high, yet never truly getting there. Always chasing the magic dragon. Something, that is just a bit further ahead of us, yet no matter how hard we try- how hard we party, how hard we gamble- we cannot seem to reach it. I think it’s a lie. A lie that we’ve been fed from society itself, causing us to form destructive behaviours. 

    Overall, I am tired. I no longer wish to participate in this social experiment, where destruction of ones self is glorified. Where idolization of mere mortal humans has become the new religion. Where we as people are expected to worship false idols and ideologies, all in the name of progress. It’s counterproductive and plain wrong. It’s quickly leading to our inevitable demise as a society. Things will not be able to continue at the pace in which they currently are. I’m not afraid. I’m prepared to face the dire fallout of our actions as a species. I understand that this experiment will have dire consequences on the human race, throughout the world. I have come to grip with the reality that we are in for rough waters ahead. We as humans have gone far too long, living far too free, to not face the consequences of our actions. Like in physics, every action has a reaction. We have been in action, for far too long. We have created a ticking time-bomb, which is dying to go off. And it will, very soon. I can feel it. The path we are on is no longer sustainable. The actions we have taken as a society, can no longer go on. Maybe those creatures that the children in South Africa claim to have seen were real. And maybe, their message was true all along. We are in danger. Technology is destroying our lives.
